Returns Policy
It is the responsibility of the customer to understand the suitability of any item purchased from VS and Associates for the project or business purpose or personal use intended, therefore “All Sales Are Considered Final.”
Our products come with a Manufacturer’s full parts and labor back to base warranty in 1, 2 or 3 years increments depending on the model you’ve chosen.
If during the warranty period, the product fails to perform to the specifications of the manufacturer, VS Security Products, the representatives at VS and Associates will repair the product at No Charge. The customer needs to contact VS and Associates to initiate a return. If approved for repair under warranty, the product needs to be packed securely in its original packaging and returned to our specified Repair Depot, Freight PPD. Please insure as necessary. Once the product has been repaired, we will return it to the customer’s location with freight paid by VS and Associates. The brands that are covered under the warranty are the Verity Systems and VS Security Products brands,
No item may be returned without the express written authorization from VS and Associates. When a return has been authorized, the customer is provided with a RMA number that should be listed on the return shipping label.
All spare parts orders, replacement parts orders, and consumable parts orders are considered final. No returns accepted on spare parts, replacement parts, or consumable parts. Spare parts include (but are not limited to) rollers, cutting blades, belts etc.
It is incumbent on the customer to provide fixtures installed by a licensed electrician. Voltage and amperage provided by utilities varies and the customer is advised to seek the advice of a licensed electrician when connecting all electrical equipment.
Furthermore, all warranties are voided if the customer uses the product for applications other than that application intended by the manufacturer for its designed use. All warranties are voided if the customer uses the incorrect voltage or amperage.
All returns must be in the original packing container. If a product is returned to VS and Associates due to an error by the customer; a restocking fee of 20% will be applied and the customer will be responsible for shipping costs both ways. Special order products and custom made products are not returnable.
Return Policy for Credit Card Purchases
For credit card purchases, management reserves the right, at its discretion, to choose to refund a cancelled order and to charge a 6% cancellation fee of the value of the goods that were purchased. Once a product has been approved for return and if the item has been received in like new condition to VS and Associates, a credit for the full value of the goods less the 26% combined Restocking (20%) and CC cancellation (6%) fees will be issued back to the customer within 24-48 hours via the original payment method. (For example, if you paid with a credit card then the credit will be issued back to your credit card). Please allow 3-7 business days for the credit to appear back on your credit card statement.

All items are subject to prior sale.
Damaged Merchandise
If the customer receives damaged merchandise they are requested to notify VS and Associates immediately. ALWAYS INSPECT MERCHANDISE UPON DELIVERY. IF YOU NOTICE ANY DAMAGE TO THE BOX OR PRODUCT, NOTE THAT WHEN SIGNING. If there is noticeable damage and it is not noted it will be hard to put in a claim with the carrier. VS and Associates cannot be held responsible for damage to merchandise while in transit on a common carrier. Any remedy for damaged goods will be solely at the discretion of the common carrier or the manufacturer.
Purchase Orders
Purchase orders are accepted only upon approval of VS and Associates. If a customer chooses to set up an account then a list of credit references (1 bank, 4 corporate) is required. If you need a blank credit application faxed or emailed to you please contact us. It typically takes 1-3 days to set up a new account.
Credit Cards
VS and Associates accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Please provide us with card number, expiration date, security code, bill to and ship to address and the name on card.
Quantity Discount
Many items can be offered with a quantity discounted price, please contact your Customer Service team at VS and Associates for a custom discounted quote.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be added to orders where required by law of the State of California. If you are tax exempt please provide a copy of the sales tax exemption certificate.
Error and Omissions
Vs and Associates and VS Security Product are not responsible for errors in typography contained in any documents and are not responsible for errors in photography or artistic use of images on the website.
